Gina Hirst

Gina Hirst has proudly called Centerville home since 1980 and is honored to serve on the Centerville City Council. She was elected to the Council in 2022 and previously served on the Centerville Planning Commission from 2013 to 2018, where she worked on long-range planning and community development efforts. 

Gina is a licensed civil engineer with nearly three decades of experience in water resources and infrastructure planning. Over the past 15 years, she has also supported municipal and infrastructure projects through technical writing and communications, helping translate complex engineering and planning concepts into clear information for communities, decision-makers, and stakeholders. This work has strengthened her collaborative approach and commitment to transparent public engagement.

She and her husband are the parents of five incredible children and have deep roots in the community through schools, church, and local service. Gina is committed to listening to residents and helping ensure Centerville remains a safe, well-planned, and welcoming place for families now and in the future.
