Get ready for an unforgettable summer in Centerville! Our 2026 lineup is designed for everyone—literally. With programs spanning ages 6 to 100, we believe you’re never too young to learn or too old to play. Whether you're looking to beat the heat in our indoor camps or soak up the sun in our outdoor adventures, there is something for every interest and skill level.

Sign-ups open April 6th, 2026. Spaces fill up fast, so mark your calendars! We look forward to seeing you at the park, in the lab, or on the court this summer.

"Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge" - We're playing every type fo dodgeball and just dodgeball during this three day camp.  Warm up those arms little ones, and game on!

Ages: 6 & Up

Time: 8 am- 9 am

Class Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Session 1: June 9-11

Activities can include basketball, volleyball, flag football, pickleball, disc golf, corn hole, spikeball, baseball, kickball, track & field, capture the flag, hockey, tennis, aerobics, obstacle course, dodgeball, etc.

Available from June-End of July for participants to complete outdoor adventures on their own timeline.  Once summer starts each participant will receive (available for pick up from Centerville City Hall starting June 1st) a list of activity options to complete thorughout the summer along with a water bottle.  Each activity completed earns a sticker of the participants choosing.  Report in at Centerville City with a picture of your completed acitivity and you can pick a sticker to add to your provided water bottle. Let's make some outdoor memories this summer!  

Lean how to whip up some summer treats that are sure to have our family and friends wanting more.  Each session is a different theme with differing receipes, so weather you sign up for all eight sessions or just one, our cooks will be experiencing a variety.

Join one or several of our four day (twice a week) beginner or intermediate camps to shoot some archery using NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) Certified Genesis Compound Bows! 

To attend the intermediate camp archer needs to have completed a previous beginner camp.  Intermediate camp is focused on preparing archers for NASP styled tournaments and scoring.  Highly recommend taking one or more of our intermediate camps prior to registering for our end of summer intermediate tournament.

Ages: 8 & Up (should be going into 4th grade this coming school year as per NASP Requirements)

Come and explore your creativity in the wonderful world of crafts!  No store-bought kits here.  Each week offers a different theme with made from scratch crafts! 

Don't miss this years exciting pinewood derby car building camp where each particpant will have an opportunity to build a car to enter into our end of summer community pinewood derby race happening on July 31st (pre-registration required to enter the derby, camp registration does not include signing up for the derby.  Derby is free to particpate in, but does require a pre-registration).

Ages: 6 & Up

Time: 1:30 pm-3:00 pm

Camp meets weekly on Monday afternoons to engage in a new weekly challenge.  Each week our creations are displayed in City Hall for all to admire. 

New This Year:  We will making derby cars out of legos during this camp to enter into the end of summer community pinewood derby race on July 31st (we will have special lego classification).  Camp does not include registration for the derby.  Derby registration is free, but pre-registration is required to enter you car into the derby.

A four day (once a week) introduction to Archery using genesis compound bows!  All equipment and instruction provided so all you need to do is show ready to learn the art of archery!

Ages: 16 & Up

Come and learn the basics of pickleball including rules of play, different drills, and paddles up play for all.  Whether you want to learn or you have a group of people wanting to learn and work into games, come on over to our pickleball courts for some casual play and improve each monday night this summer!
