Weber Basin Secondary Water Information

Information about secondary water turn on for 2023

Weber Basin Water is tentatively planning to have the secondary water lines pressurized by April 15th (this date could change depending on weather). Residents should ensure that all main line valves are closed by April 1st and their systems are prepared to accept water. Residents who fail to close their valves may encounter flooding problems and users are responsible for any water entering their systems during all months of the year. We encourage residents not to use their secondary irrigation water until landscapes require it. Irrigation systems typically do not need to be put on a regular watering schedule until May. The District encourages secondary customers to use the start of the season for maintenance on their systems. This will allow irrigation systems to run as optimally as possible when needed. The District’s general guidelines are to water once a week in May, twice a week in June and September, and three times a week in July and August.
